This project involved the refurbishment of a two-level residence originally built in 2005 and the addition of two backyard buildings.

A detached pavillion serves an artist’s studio and consultation room. The other pavillion, attached to the original home, serves as a main bedroom suite. Both lightweight structures are positioned around a large golden elm and clad in a thermally treated timber - stained black - to recede into a revitalised garden.
